This course introduces students to the varieties of instructional design theories and models from the objectivist and constructivist perspectives. Topics covered include learning theories, domains of instructional technology, theories of instruction, instructional design, communication theories and principles, delivery systems and strategies, issues of integration of technology and learning, and various aspects of evaluation to guide and enhance needs analysis, design, development, and implementation of effective lessons or modules.
